Principal's Message
I am so excited to be working at Circle Center Grade School with the most amazing staff, students, and families! At CCGS we value our partnerships and connections between home and school. This year our theme is "An Adventure Awaits!" We are so excited about the adventures the year will take us on. We know that the 2023-2024 school year will be the best one yet!
I am honored to be the principal at Circle Center Grade School for the fifth year. Previously, I served as an instructional coach, gifted educator, first grade teacher, early childhood director/assistant principal, and principal in the Valley View, Troy, and Saratoga school districts. I am also a National Board Certified Educator in early childhood. This means I make a daily effort to make connections between home and school, and consistently reflect on my practices so I can grow professionally and have the greatest impact on students. My undergraduate degree, which I received from Lewis University, is in elementary education and special education. I also hold a master's degree in teaching and leadership from St. Xavier, and another master's degree in administration from Lewis University. In 2022, I graduated from Lewis University with my doctoral degree.
As a mother of five children and a grandmother of one, I know and understand you are doing the best you can on a daily basis to support your children and make the best decisions possible for them. Working at Circle Center Grade School provides me with a connection with the little ones, who I adore so much. I thrive on feedback and open communication and hope that CCGS families always feel welcome. Thank you for the opportunity to work with your children each and every day!
